"The ONLY drawback was the noise from the exhaust vent of the John Hancock Center garage. Though this may not be quite so bad from the rooms that overlook East Chestnut Street. Apart from that things were just fine."

"We had a rather unattractive OLD suite with a leaky bathroom sink faucet, broken lamps and absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Man of the dressar pulls were broken. The mattress was uncomforable and the pillows gave us both neck aches. The bedroom was so light that we both needed sleeping masks all night long. Some heavier draperies would go a long way toward blocking out the light.
When we checked in, we asked the two women at the reception desk if 1709 was a remodeled suite. Neither one had any knowledge of the rooms. Because we got the room at such an inexpensive rate, I did not request a change. That was a mistake."

"Desperately needs kitchen and bathroom updates, more attention to detail. Our room smelled like diesel fuel and onions our second night, we were right above the restaurant. Security at the elevator doors was a joke and all the keys were labeled with room numbers, making it very easy to lose a key and have someone get in your room. Beds were excrutiatingly soft and there was very little tourist information in the rooms."

"1. Not enough towels for two people. Cheap towels. Bathroom was very small with essentially no counter space for personal amenities. Hairdryer??? Didn't see one, however, I didn't check under the sink. Water pressure and temp was quite variable. We didn't have one good shower while we were there.
2. No paper towels in the kitchen. Microwave oven would turn on each time its door was opened. One element on the stove seemed broken.
3. The phones didn't seem to be set up correctly.
4. Cockroaches
5. One of the TV remotes didn't work. We told the front desk about that the second day we were there. Nothing was done.
Overall, great location. Room size was fine, except for the bathroom. Having a kitchen was helpful. Furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. Amenities seemed poor for the price. I did feel that I spent a bit too much for what we got. Not quite what I expected when compared to their website."
