"Don't count on the hotel's parking, but you can park on street and pay the meter for the given hours. The shuttle into the shopping etc. is every hour, but you can only get a spot if you reserve during your desired hour. So you have to act quick or else spots fill up, especially at night."

"Parking was challenging as they only had 15 spaces that they charged $15/day for a first come first serve space. So you are not guarenteed a space.
Hotel a little run down. Not renovated, a little musty smelling"

"Old hotel and showing it. AC leaked and made the carpet wet which left a damp odor in the room."

"The hotel is old and could use some sprucing up, finishes are not great, but the staff was friendly, the room was quiet and roomy enough and the location was excellent for a vacationing family, across from Lincoln Park. Also, the price was excellent. I wish the rooms had internet access."

"The elevators need to be fixed. Only one of two worked all weekend, and at that, the one working was impossibly slow. That should be addressed. Also, the entire hotel was booked full of baseball fans in town for a Cubs game. I love sports too, but the partying and the noise of many of these guests did detract from enjoying the hotel....I considered complaining about several guests, but took matters into my own hands and asked them to "keep it down". That really should be the hotel's responsibility: keeping noise levels checked. It's a nice hotel, the maid service was excellent, and for the money, it's a good value. But there are a few things that could have been better."

"We had one problem - there was a water main break Sunday morning and we had no power or water. So, we left walking down 9 flights of stairs without any lighting. The employees were great.......... this was not their fault, but I do think that we should be compensated for something because no showers or anything."

"The best thing I can say is that I had a spectacular view of Lincoln Park, the Zoo and the lake but who goes to a hotel to look at the view? The last morning of my stay there construction was going on in the room next to mine which began at 8:30 am and was extremely noisy and annoying. The bar facility was very inconvenient - I enjoy having a cocktail in my room and was unable to do so. The elevators were inconvenient since housekeeping and maintenance used the same ones as the guests. It wasn't terrible but would definitely not be my first choice again."
