"The fixtures in the room were worn looking. A hole in the fabric of the couch arm; spots on the bedspread; hairline crack in the sink. Rooms were clean and bathroom was spotless. Very old building so you hear everyone walking overhead which is quite annoying at 3: 00 am. BUT, the location for us is good as it is near our family. We were glad that we reserved room through you on Internet as the Front Desk was quoting rates 2 times what we paid! I would consider staying here again - knowing what I do - and hope for the best since I have very few options in this area. City Suites is featured in the Resort Magazine/Guide comparing itself to some very elite properties. They are no way in the same league as those they are comparing themselves too! Parking is nearby - we opted for the garage without in/out privileges as lot gets very full in the evening."

"Two things kept my stay from being excellent: First, the shower hot water was inconsistent from moment to moment. Second, there was no dead bolt inside the room that I could set to keep my 2 year old daughter from wandering out into the hall (she can reach the door knob). Otherwise really splendid accommodations. Plenty of room, helpful staff and a great brunch place next door (Ann Sather's)."

"Using the Elevated train to get from Midway Airport to the hotel was a breeze. The hotel is located just steps away from the Belmont station. As a consequence, the rooms facing the train tracks will be noisy. I just used earplugs at night and had a decent night sleep. The public transportation system in Chicago is great. I used the L train and buses to get to the major museums. Never had to take a taxi once."
